Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 July 2026
Welcome to RecruiterOpps ("the Platform"). By using the Platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Platform.
1. About the service
The Platform lets users share real experiences with recruiters and browse other users' cases and ratings.
All cases, ratings and comments are the personal experiences and opinions of their authors and do not represent the Platform. We do not and cannot verify every submission; content is for reference only.
2. Accounts
You sign in with an email verification code. You must use an email address that belongs to you and keep your account secure.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. User content
You retain ownership of the content you post (cases, comments, attachments). You grant the Platform a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, translate and process it as needed to operate the service.
You warrant that what you post is your own first-hand, truthful experience, and that it: contains nothing false or misleading; does not defame, insult or threaten anyone; does not disclose private personal data beyond a professional context (home address, phone number, ID numbers, etc.); and does not infringe any third-party rights.
If you post anonymously, your display name is hidden from the public, but the Platform still retains your account records and technical logs (see section 7).
4. Prohibited conduct
You must not: post fabricated or malicious cases; harass, threaten or attack others; spam or advertise; impersonate anyone; scrape the Platform by automated means; or do anything unlawful.
5. Moderation and removal
All cases are reviewed before publication. We may, at our sole discretion, reject, adjust the presentation of, or remove any content, and may suspend or terminate offending accounts without prior notice.
If you believe content is false or inappropriate, use the report function and we will handle it as soon as possible.
6. Rights of persons discussed
If you believe content about you on the Platform is false or defamatory, you may file a complaint via the report function or by contacting us, with supporting evidence. We will review and, where justified, remove or amend the content.
7. Anonymity and data
To keep the Platform safe and comply with the law, we record technical data including IP address, approximate location, browser information and activity logs.
Where required by law (for example a court order), we may have to disclose account and log data to law enforcement or relevant parties. Posting anonymously does not mean absolute anonymity in legal proceedings.
8. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties as to accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose. Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, employment or other professional advice.
Any decision you make in reliance on Platform content is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, nor for disputes arising from user content.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Revised terms take effect when published on this page. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
